At Cotton & Washi, we’re drawn to everyday objects that are useful, well made and made to be used again and again. That thinking shapes the way we choose our products, materials and packaging too.
We look for ways to reduce unnecessary waste, choose reusable alternatives where we can, and give materials and objects a longer life. From reusable cotton wraps and washi paper to carefully considered packaging, every choice is part of a bigger picture.
We’re not perfect, and we don’t believe sustainability is about being perfect. It’s about paying attention, making better choices where we can, and continuing to learn as we grow.
Because sometimes the smallest shift like wrapping without tape, reusing what you already have, choosing something made to last, can become a better everyday habit.

Thoughtful Packaging
We think the little things matter, including what your order arrives in.
We choose our packaging with the same care we give to the objects inside. Wherever we can, we use UK-sourced materials that are recycled, recyclable, reusable or made from responsibly sourced paper.
We also try to keep things simple: less unnecessary packaging, materials that have a purpose, and things that can have a life beyond the parcel they arrived in.
Because packaging doesn’t have to be throwaway. A box can be stored. Paper can be reused. A wrap can become part of the gift.
Useful first. Waste less. Use again.
