Inspired by the mist-draped pine groves in the 16th-century masterwork Pine Trees Screen by painter Hasegawa Tohaku, these exquisite candles feature a textured, rustic silhouette designed to echo the rugged beauty of Noto’s native pine trees.

Crafted in Ishikawa Prefecture using time-honored wa-rousoku (traditional Japanese candle) techniques, TOHAKU candles are made entirely from natural sumac plant wax (haze).
